Getting Started

How to create an account?

Click "Sign up" at the top right. Choose your profile (Client or Freelancer), fill in your information then verify your email. You will then access your dashboard.

How to complete my profile?

Go to Settings > My profile. Add your avatar, bio and contact info. Freelancers: also complete your portfolio and skills to boost visibility.

How to publish a service?

As a freelancer: My services > Create a service. Fill in title, description, price and delivery time. Once published, your service appears in the search engine.

How to post an announcement?

As a client: "Post an announcement" in the menu. Describe your project, budget and deadline. Freelancers will be able to send you proposals.

Payments & withdrawals

Which payment methods?

We accept Credit card (Stripe) and PayPal. All payments go through a secure escrow: funds are released to the freelancer only after the client validates the delivery.

How to withdraw my earnings?

Freelancers: Settings > Payments & withdrawals. Provide your bank account or PayPal and request a withdrawal. Transfer is completed within 2 to 5 business days.

Understanding commissions

IndepWeb takes 15% on Free accounts, 8% on Pro and 3% on Elite. This fee covers payment processing, escrow, support and moderation. The client pays the displayed price, the freelancer receives price minus commission.

Funds validation delay

Once the order is delivered, the client has 7 days to validate, request modifications, or open a dispute. Without action, funds are auto-released after this delay.

Orders

How to place an order?

On a service page, click "Order". Choose your pack, check the summary then proceed to payment. The order is then tracked in "My orders".

Order tracking

All your orders are visible in "My orders". You see statuses (in progress, delivered, validated), downloadable deliverables and full history.

Request modifications

When the freelancer delivers, you have 3 options: Validate, Request modifications, or Open dispute. Click "Request modifications" and specify what should be adjusted.

Request a refund

If the delivery does not match your expectation at all, open a dispute from the order page. Our team reviews the situation within 48 business hours.

Security & privacy

Secure my account

Enable two-factor authentication in Settings > Security. Use a unique strong password. Never share your credentials. Sign out from devices you no longer use.

Report a user

On the profile or in a conversation, use the "Report" option. Our moderation team handles reports within 24 business hours.

Data protection (GDPR)

Your data is stored in Europe. You have rights of access, rectification and deletion. Download or delete your data from Settings > Privacy.

Received a phishing email?

IndepWeb NEVER asks for your password by email. If you receive a suspicious message, do not click links and contact our support immediately.
